Editorial policy
Strict neutrality: our articles are written in a factual, journalistic tone, without opinion or sensationalism. Every non-trivial claim is attributed to its source.
Sources accepted as single-source triggers: authenticated official statements (Swiss and international government domains, central banks, official wire services, Geneva-based international organisations). For any other information, a minimum of two independent sources is required before publication — never two outlets citing the same wire report.
Sensitive topics (death of a public figure, attack, election results): minimum two first-tier sources, or one official source.
No republishing of wire copy: our articles are written from facts reported by multiple sources, with short quotes (under 15 words) and a link to the original source.
Corrections: any confirmed factual error is publicly corrected at the foot of the article, with a timestamp. See our "Corrections" page.
